Often the tooth will need to be prepared first by drilling the enamel a little. A lab technician makes the porcelain veneer which is then fitted at the next appointment.

As with composite bonding, cases are chosen carefully, and all options discussed thoroughly before proceeding. Not all patients will be suitable for veneers, so please speak to your dentist.
